An Amazing God!!! His Creation is Spectacular!!!

This is the view from our missionary friends home in Alaska on the Glenn Hwy. , but  looking at the Matanuska River and King mountain from their backyard. Psalm 121 " I will lift up  my eyes  to the mountains from where shall my help come?  My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth."(NASB) What a wonder to see God's beautiful mountains and wildlife in Alaska. Everywhere we looked we saw the mountains. 

Then we looked and we began to see hurting people, a drunk in downtown Anchorage.  Later speaking with a pastor we were told of the drug problems and of the sexual problems that exist in Alaska.  Where sin is Grace abounds.  We saw the hand of God working through people we met. Christians going into the prisons, reaching out to the homeless, and helping young women in trouble.
So much beauty and so much pain.  We are sending Audio Bibles to help in the ministry to them.

Excited to Be in the Lord's Plans

" Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."(NIV) .

It is exciting to know and see that we are in the Lord's plans as  He has revealed them to us.
We were gone 6 weeks traveling to Alaska to bring supplies and Audio Bibles to our missionary partners that had lived in Africa and are now in Alaska. Some Audio Bibles will be brought into the prison near Anchorage. This was the first partnership in Alaska.

Keith helped with an airplane hangar and I encouraged the missionaries.  Keith also worked on a bulldozer to help the missionary.  Daily life in Alaska can be challenging.  We traveled in our Jeep and small travel trailer a total of 10,000 miles plus. The supplies were greatly appreciated.

It was amazing how the Lord prompted me to take addresses to some churches in Alaska.  So when we were near one of them I sensed very strongly that we were to stop and introduce ourselves.  We ended up meeting a couple that are both ministers with contacts and ministry that can be helped with the use of some Audio Bibles.  Native Alaskans have several different languages.  Not everyone in the villages speaks English.  Not everyone necessarily reads.  We were told they would get back to us after their friend an Alaskan State Trooper gets back from his assignment in the villages in about three weeks. They can then tell us what the language is that we need to get in Audio form on the Audio Bibles. We are sending the Wildlife animals with the Audio Bibles and Bible stories in a small pouch to them to use with children that have been in crisis . This is the second partnership and the unknown thing that the Lord was to show us.  We always pray for God to give us the opportunities and the  connections He has planned.  Now we will be sending Audio Bibles to Alaska for a State Trooper to take out into the villages.

The third connection and partnership is still being established. The missionaries will inform us what languages are needed in the Audio Bibles that will  be flown up to  the villages near the Arctic Circle and the Brooks range of mountains. Every Summer about 13 airplanes pick up children from the villages and take them to Christian Summer Camp for a week.  We are planning on sending Audio Bibles with them.  The children will then be witnesses of Christ with the Audio Bibles back in their villages. This is a prayer request to have this all come together as the Lord plans.

That's the exciting news and the Lord is yet to reveal more.
It is exciting to report more Audio Bibles and Wildlife animals with the Audio Bibles in their pouches were sent to Sierra  Leone and Liberia Africa.

Distribution African Style

Segio & his wife Juliette traveled for three weeks to the Northern part of Mozambique to distribute the Audio Bibles.  He is the National Director of the Sound Studio who was trained back in 2005 when we made the Sound Studio on the third floor of the Wesleyan Bible College in Xai Xai, Mozambique.  These Audio Bibles are done in their Heart Language the language they pray in and think in.  Scripture needs to be done in Audio because they are an Oral culture. PSALMS 27:8(NLT)" My heart has heard you say, " Come and talk with me." And my heart responds, " Lord, I am coming"
They need to know they can talk to the Lord and have that saving relationship with Him.  There were times Sergio had to go in a dug - out canoe.  Other times they walked, or took a bicycle, or a motorcycle carrying the packages of Audio Bibles with them.  

I remember how we first started.  We hand carried the Audio Bibles into Mozambique in our backpacks and luggage.  They equipment to start the Sound Studio was flown into Mozambique by airplane through Mercy Air.  Twelve years later the process still includes hand carrying.  These are remote off the grind areas.  There is no other way to get these unreached people groups their own Audio Bible to hear the gospel, BUT  to carry them in by hand.  Thousands have been distributed so far into Mozambique.  Thousands more are needed.  So we ask you to pray for More to be delivered!!!

We praise the Lord for the years He protected us as WE were the ones bringing the Audio Bibles into Mozambique.  Now it is Sergio & Juliette and others from the "Crown of Victory Sound Studio" that
distribute them in their Heart Languages.   We continue to raise funds and tell the story of the people yet to hear and yet to know our Lord Jesus as their Savior.

PS:   We have also just sent a shipment to Sierra Leone, Africa of Wildlife stuffed animals with the Audio Bible in a small pouch in the animals.  We sent 50 of them after donations were raised.  These are to be given to the Trafficked women & children that have been Rescued from their horrible life in Trafficking. We have a prayer request to send more and even into Liberia and Cambodia. Please pray with us to send 100.  Each one with the Audio Bible costs about $40.00.  Thank you for praying and thank you for supporting these gifts to be sent to these heartbroken women & children.
