JEREMIAH 33:3 " Call to ME, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know."
Those pleading for Audio Bibles & wanting to know our Lord, when they finally did get an Audio Bible couldn't stop listening to them. So when the Audio Bibles were distributed in their heart language, the Village stayed up all night listening to the Bible!!!! Well the missionaries who distributed them that day in the village could not get any sleep from the continueous playing of the Audio Bibles!!! What a great problem to have. It shows us how hungry they really are to know God and learn.
We just returned from our trip West and presenting in churches. The response was great! And God's people realize the need for their brothers & sisters in Christ to have an Audio Bible. Our trip had it's challenges, and so we thank all of you for praying for our safety & health. There were several severe thunderstorms, one of which had huge hail. Our car was spared, but the car that was outside received damage from the hail, and a broken windshield. Physically we all were fine.
I continue to marvel at how faithful our Lord is to protect us. We also had several God moments to witness for Christ, and rejoice with other Christians. We prayed with many people, and I am reminded of the Scripture Matthew 11: 25 - 30 " especially verse 28 " Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden." We each do what we can and make sure we are laboring with the Lord and that we have given Him our heavy burden. We know that preparing for our return to Mozambique in Africa takes a great deal of work and preparations. Sometimes you feel overwhelmed, yet in prayer giving it to our Lord , we are strengthened and can carry on.
So we ask you to pray about all those preparations we need to get done. We need to renew our passports, pray it is done in a timely fashion. We need more funds to finish the distribution , the Audio Bibles have been purchased and are in Mozambique waiting for the language to be completed. The cost of transportation in country is always expensive, we are figuring close to 2,000 dollars just for that as we travel with the Audio Bibles North in Mozambique. Lodging can also add up as we hope to stay about 5 weeks, which will be approximately $1,000.00. We know the food costs continue to rise, so that is open ended. Flying into the Delta with the Sena language will be the biggest challenge.
